Customer Review: don't buy it if you want a good thermo

i ordered 2 thermos of this style, 1 is 17oz and the other 1 is 12oz. just received them today. i thought they were made in Japan, but no, they were made in Thailand. well, i'm not quite a Japan-made fan, so it's OK for me. i won't write this if it is not for the heat i feel on the top.
the cap is made of plastic and feels really hot. i'm not sure how long it can keep water warm...
another interesting thing is that although the 2 thermos i bought are same style, on the instruction of the 17oz thermo, it officially says that it can keep water at 188F for 1 hour or 160F for 6 hours
however, the instruction of the 12oz thermo shows that it can keep water at 181F for 1 hour or 140F for 6 hours.
i do not have time to return them and buy new ones, but if you want to buy this, i'd suggest you to stop & think again...
