First of all this is NOT a mug but a thermos. It does keep my coffee hotter than my coffee mugs but you cannot drink from it therefore you still have to bring along a mug. I spend most of my day driving and like hot coffee to sip on. This thermos keeps it moderately hot for a few hours, not all day. Still looking for the perfect to go coffee mug.
