I got the 1.3 liter. The thermos leaks. Remove the "cup" and there is the actual lid to the thermal container. The problem with this inner lid is that you can not squeeze it tight based on your hand strength - it only closes so far, and this is not far enough, at least with the one I received. Hot coffee leaks out into my backpack, requiring me to keep the thermos in a waterproof bag. Bummer. If it were not for this major flaw, I would be happy with its acceptable (not awesome) temperature retention and carafe design. Oh well.
Another minor note is that none of the documentation that came with this thermos was in English.
