I bought this rice cooker on the basis of the excellent reviews and I couldn't be more disappointed. I have bought at least 12 different types of rice including brown, white, sushi, long grain, basmati, jasmine, organic, supermarket own brands etc. I have tried several different programmes, including the quick cook. I followed the limited instructions to the letter and yet all my rice ends up the same - like a bowl of mush. This isn't my first rice cooker either. I had a cheap Sanyo one when I lived in the UK and it worked like a dream. Not sure where I'm going wrong as everyone else seems happy with it.
