Customer Review: Our first rice cooker: not giving it back!

We've had this almost a couple weeks now, for two people. I think our normal use is going to be: cook a big batch of white rice to keep warm (on "extended keep warm" setting) for a couple days, for meals and quick snack or breakfast. My husband can digest the GABA brown rice better than regular brown rice, but it is still a little harder on his sensitive digestive system, so I am making batches of that kind just for myself, to reheat as needed. (It reminds me a bit of oven-baked steel cut oats, just not gummy and pasty...) It seems to germinate better if you add slightly warm water and let it sit a few hours before it starts the GABA warming/cooking cycle; I set it up in the evening with the timer set to have it done at 6 AM.
As far as the white rice goes, we've tried a few different kinds, but even the cheapest unrinsed long grain white rice comes out great, compared to boiling or cooking in the cheap plastic microwave rice cooker. Also, on the first day I cooked calrose sushi rice for sushi rolls and it was perfect (didn't need to cook 4 cups for 2 people though, lol).
