I bought this particular toaster because all of my other Zojirushi appliances are fantastic. This toaster is very well built and has a good feature set, but it just doesn't get the job done. Even on the highest setting it doesn't brown the bread. It takes a cycle and a half to toast plain old white bread. Maybe I just got a lemon, but I expected better from Zojirushi.
